Texas Longhorn

My husband is a woodland ecologist and spends a lot of time on ranches studying trees for wildfire fuel data. He often gets approached by a lot wildlife. This Texas Longhorn was interested in him, so he sent me a picture. I loved his nose and sweet gentle ears I knew I had paint him and give him justice.

This piece was juried into the Art Center of Corpus Christi's Wild West Show in March 2026.
